Microsoft пока не имеет прав на Word. В Соединенных Штатах Америки похоже "самый гуманный суд в мире". Чего только стоит решение федерального апеляционного суда, который оставил запрет Microsoft на продажу приложения известного на весь мир - Microsoft Ofiice Word. А все началось с иска от корпорации из Канады под названием i4i Inc. Канадцы обвинила американскую корпорацию в том, что они нарушили авторские права. Естественно адвокаты из Microsoft подали протест, но суд оставил свое решение в силе и Microsoft Ofiice Word 2003 и 2007 на территории штатов, распостранять запрещено. Разработчики из Канады доказали суду, что это они разработали эту технологию и что именно им принадлежит патент на неё.
