Теперь пользователь может работать с аппаратом около четырнадцати часов без подзарадку. Как сообщают в корпорации, такая инновация стала доступна при использовании новой технологии Super Hybrid Engine, а также новейшей платформе Intel Pinetrail. Всего таких моделей насчитывается три Eee PC Seashell 1005P, 1005PE и 1001P. Нетбуки сделаны на базе процессора Intel Atom N450, а также имеют двойной загрузчик операционной системы. Благодаря новому процессору от Intel, значительно уменьшилось энергопотребление. К слову раньше автономно нетбук мог работать около семи с половиной часов, достижение на лицо.
