На официальном сайте Федерации бокса России выложена информация о проведении турнира по боксу в Хорватии. Турнир будет проходить на Мемориале Златко Хрбича в Загребе.
В составе сборной России выступят призеры чемпионата мира-2009 Эдуард Абзалимов и Миша Алоян. Э. Абзалимов является серебряным призером ЧМ весовой категории до 54 кг, М. Алоян – обладает бронзовой наградой (весовая категория до 51 кг).
Кроме того, в соревнованиях будут участвовать чемпионы России прошлого года Александр Соляников весовой категории до 64 кг, Нияз Файзуллин (свыше 91 кг) и вице-чемпион России -2009 Радик Загитов (48 кг). В состав российской команды также входят Дмитрий Полянский (57 кг), Семен Гривачев (60), Алексей Кадочников (75 кг) и Никита Кузьмин (91).
Соревнования завершатся 6 марта.
