Как сообщил официальный сайт УЕФА, голкипер Свен Ульрих, играющий в немецком «Штутгарте», скорее всего не сможет больше выйти на поле до завершения текущего сезона. Причиной тому является полученная им тяжелая травма ноги. Ее он приобрел во время матча отборочного турнира молодежного чемпионата Европы во время игры против команды Исландии. Защищавший ворота сборной Германии 21-летний Ульрих получил перелом малоберцовой кости.
Насколько известно, вратарь может пропустить шесть-восемь недель и едва ли успеет поправиться до конца сезона. Команде «Штутгарте» предстоит сыграть 17 марта ответный матч 1/8 финала Лиги чемпионов против «Барселоны». Основным голкипером немецкой команды является 40-летний Йенс Леманн. За сборную Германии выступает наш соотечественник Павел Погребняк.
