Один из самых вредных факторов, влияющих на природу Арктики, это забой зверей и рыболовство. К началу этого года на Россию приходится всего 2% рыбного рынка. Об этом упоминалось на совещании Совета Российской академии наук, которое прошло в Архангельске.
Председатель Южного научного центра РАН Геннадий Матишов заметил, что в нашей стране исчез такой промысел, как ловля в океане. Научный центр, специально, чтобы рыболовы вернулись в океан, разработали для них атлас эмиграции рыбы, по которому видно где обитает рыба в определенное время года. По словам ученых, прогнозирование в рыболовстве очень важно, ведь суда должны выходить точно по расписанию. Атлас был составлен на основе наблюдений в ближайшие 100 лет.
