В конце марта в пригороде северной столицы прошел автопробег в протест возведения Целлюлозно-бумажного комбината на реке Свирь, которая находится в Подпорожском районе Ленинградской области. Эту новость предоставили в центральном областном филиале партии "Единая Россия". Около ста человек приняли участие в акции. Как стало известно партии "Единая Россия", данный комбинат собирается выстроить финская фабрика UPM Kummene.
UPM – один из крупнейших лесопромышленных концернов в Финляндии. В его состав входят компании, выпускающие бумагу для офиса и полиграфии, а также бумагу, предназначенную для упаковки, материалов для самоклейки, метки идентификации радиочастот RFID и непосредственно изготовление продукции из дерева.
