По сообщению издания «Чемпионат.ру», после прошедшего 29 марта матча отборочного цикла чемпионата Европы-2012 между сборными Сербии и Эстонии (1:1), было арестовано 72 болельщика команды Сербии
Вышеуказанный источник утверждает, что в 700 присутствовавших болельщиках сербской команды, находились русскоязычные эстонцы и проблемы начались после вывешивания баннера с надписью «Свобода или смерть».Как отреагирует УЕФА на данный инцидент, пока неизвестно. Напомним, что матч, проходивший 12 октября в Генуе между итальянской и сербской сборными, был остановлен из-за беспорядков на «сербских» трибунах. С трибун на поле и на поклонников «Скуадры адзурры» летели различные предметы, были видны подожженные файеры. Вышедшие на газон футболисты вернулись в раздевалки, а стюарты в это время успокаивали разгоряченных фанатов. В этом матче сборной Сербии было засчитано техническое поражение (0:3).
После всех разборов произошедшего, дисциплинарный комитет УЕФА принял решение о том, что два домашних матча сборная Сербии должна провести без болельщиков. Итальянскую футбольную федерацию оштрафовали на 100 000 евро, а сербскую – на 120 000 евро.
