Киев. 12 января. Как сообщают РИА Новости, Высшим административным судом Украины признан недействительным указ о присвоении С. Бандере звания «Герой Украины», который принял в 2010 году В.Ющенко.Степан Бандера являлся руководителем ОУН (Организации украинских националистов), был главным инициатором создания УПА - Украинской повстанческой армии, которая объявила своей целью борьбу за независимость Украины с фашистами и большевиками, фактически же активно сотрудничала с нацистами, что подтверждено материалами Нюрнбергского процесса. Возведение в ранг героев лидеров УПА при президентстве Ющенко вызвало критику со стороны мировой общественности и ветеранов Великой Отечественно войны.
В апреле 2010 года в административный суд г.Донецка поступил иск от гражданина Украины Владимира Оленцевича о признании недействительным указа "О присвоении звания «Герой Украины» С. Бандере". По данному иску было вынесено удовлетворительное решение. Позже в Высший административный суд Украины были поданы кассационные жалобы на решение ДОАС. Высшим административным судом Украины постановление суда первой инстанции было оставлено без изменений. ВАСУ является судом последней инстанции и его решение обжалованию не подлежит.
