В минувшую среду пресс – секретарь "Белнефтехим" - компании, руководящей "Белоруснефтью", Марина Костюченко, отказалась комментировать введенные Штатами в отношении «Белоруснефти» санкции.
Как известно, санкции, о которых идет речь, были введены после того, как стало известно, что данная компания подписала контракт с Ираном, несмотря на эмбарго. По информации, полученной госдепартаментом США, в 2007 году "Белоруснефть" подписала контракт с иранской нефтяной компанией на общую сумму в пол миллиарда долларов. Однако, допустимый финансовый порог для сделок, проведенных во время эмбарго не должен превышать 20 миллионов долларов.
