За 1-ое полугодие текущего года, по сравнению с таким же периодом 2010 г., число смертных случаев на дорогах Москвы уменьшилось на одиннадцать процентов: с 337 до 300 чел. Также сократилось и количество пострадавших: на 8,1% (с 6515 до 5987 чел.). Общее число дорожно-транспортных происшествий уменьшилось на 7,6% (с 5607 до 5181 аварий). За первую половину 2011 года в столице в дорожно-транспортных происшествиях погибло 5 детей и 451 ребенок был ранен.
В кинотеатрах Грузии готовится к показу премьера нового фильма американского режиссера Ренни Харлина «Пять дней в августе». В фильме отражены события во время войны 2008 года России с Грузией. Картина будет показываться одновременно в нескольких кинотеатрах республики. Основные премьерные мероприятия пройдут в кинотеатре «Руставели», сообщили в «Грузия он-лайн». Например, в фойе кинозала будет проходит выставка фоторабот, которые были сделаны во время войны в августе 2008 года.
