В воскресенье Сергей Лавров сказал такую фразу:«Если Палестина и Израиль будут постоянно говорить о том что «Иерусалим будет моим» ничего из этого не выйдет. Никакой работы. Работа будет только в том случае если это примет межгосударственный формат, того что происходит сейчас в межконфессиональной форме»
«Тот момент, когда Палестина и Израиль смогут договориться о границах – должен стать частью общего урегулирования. Мы не ждем того что Израиль разрушит и уведет за собой крупные города, но жители Палестин должны будут получить что-то близкое к тому что возьмет народ Израиля» – заявил Лавров.
«В данной ситуации без решения по Иерусалиму – никуда. Он не произойдет без территориального размежевания и без проблемы с беженцами. Я думаю, что западная часть Иерусалима - должна быть Израильской, восточная – палестинской, а все святые места будут под международным контролем»
