В Карелии Верховный суд оглашает приговор по делу о побоище в Кондопоге летом 2006 года. Подсудимых всего 6. Это люди из Дагестана и Чечни. По версии прокурора, они покалечили девятерых и двоих убили в ресторане "Чайка".
Это случилось в Кондопоге в конце августа 2006 года. Началом всего послужила ссора бывший уголовников Сергей Мозгалева и Юрия Плиева с персоналом ресторана. После этого они были осуждены в марте следующего года. После концовки ссоры в ресторане вдруг появились уроженцы Дагестана и Чечни, которых вызвали сами владельцы данного заведения. После этого драка началась уже среди и других посетителей. Два мужчины, Сергей Усин и Григорий Слезов были убиты, а другие 9 человек попали в больницы с различными травмами.
После всего случившегося жители Кондопоги начали проводить антикавказские погромы, в ходе которых бились стекла в домах и причиняли вред другим жителям города. Властям даже пришлось эвакуировать некоторых чеченских семей.
Суд над участниками драки в ресторане продолжается уже три года.
