Раймонд Ли из Ньюфаундленда – удачливый изобретатель. Не успел он в 2007 году оформить патент на свое изобретение, как это изобретение в виде реактивного рюкзака уже готово. У многих уже и ранее возникала идея сделать индивидуальное средство для передвижения, которое будет находиться за плечами. Реактивный рюкзак Ли оказался пожалуй, самым жизнеспособным среди уже существующих подобных изобретений. Сделанные ранее устройства оснащались воздушными винтами, представляющими для человека опасность, массивным мотором, к тому же был риск воспламенения топлива в рюкзаке. Раймонд Ли в своем устройстве, названном JetLev-Flyer, учел все эти недостатки. Безопасности здесь отведено главное место. Все детали, представляющие опасность, находятся на максимальном удалении от пилота, а за спиной находятся только управляемые сопла устройства.
