
На Евровидении в Норвегии Литвы не будет. В связи с нелегкой ситуацией с экономикой в стране, Литва отказалась участвовать в Евровидении 2010 года. Такое заявление сделал Римвидас Палецкис, который является директором радио и телевещания в стране. Решение было принято в последний день, так как скажи Литва позже свой ответ, её ждали бы санкции. Сейчас же страна надеется на спонсорскую поддержку, которая если появиться, поможет выступить литовским артистам в Норвегии на главном песенном конкурсе Европы. Палецкис выразил надежду на поддержку Министерства Иностранных Дел Литвы и департамент туризма, но пока ответа из вышеуказанных инстанций не последовало и Литва на данный момент не принимает участие в Евровидении 2010.
